C 63 AMG - Displacement lost, power gained

The 63 - always the figurehead of the factory tuner from Affalterbach. Mercedes-Benz provided the fantastically finished interior as well as numerous modern assistance systems as you are used to from the standard C-Class. However, the brute power of the newly developed V8 Biturbo and the excellent chassis come from Affalterbach. 63 originally stood for the displacement, but even AMG can't avoid downsizing. The former 6.3 liters shrink to 4 liters, which are now force-ventilated by two exhaust gas turbochargers. Thanks to the turbo technology, the CPA PowerBox can get even more power out of the V8 powerhouse, up to 570 hp and 777 NM are possible thanks to the engine-specific software. The AMG has lost displacement, but with the help of CPA, it has clearly gained in performance and driving pleasure. The extra power is noticeable right at the start, as it has a positive effect on acceleration and responsiveness.
