Chiptuning BMW: developed on the test bench
BMW 6 Series GT (G32) 640i Gran Turismo xDrive
BMW 640i Gran Turismo xDrive
The hatchback variant of the 5 Series is called the BMW 6 Series GT. GT stands for Gran Turismo. At first glance, the huge dimensions of the 6 Series GT immediately catch the eye, a real blessing for the passengers in the rear, but due to the size and weight, the joy of driving is a little too short. If you read some test reports and reviews, this point comes up particularly often. As a 640i, it produces 340 hp, but the engine lacks pressure and aggressiveness. This is where the motor-specific software of the CPA PowerBox comes into play. This detects incoming signals from the engine, optimizes them in real time and forwards them to the engine control unit. The result - an increase in power of up to +84 hp and an incredible +111 NM of torque. Equipped with this increase in performance comes the joy of driving. The 6 Series GT accelerates powerfully, revs up much more happily than the series and is always ready to burn new best times into the asphalt.
