Chiptuning in the VW UP GTI

Now even the smallest in the VW family is getting the GTI stamp. Since then, GTI has actually graced the strongest expansion stages of the Golf series and has been quite successful with it. Is the UP a worthy GTI? As standard, the UP GTI draws its 115 hp standard output from a 1.0 L three-cylinder engine. Sounds sufficient considering the size. Reinforced anti-roll bars, harder dampers and new strut mounts contribute to the sporty riding experience. Since the performance is now also adequate, we think the UP can confidently call itself a real GTI.
