Lightweight bolide with CPA chiptuning

McLaren MP4-12C

After more than 14 years, the MP4-12C is the first independent model of the British car manufacturer McLaren Automotive. The sports car is powered by a 3.8 L V8 turbo engine that produces 608 hp. The entire vehicle is designed for lightweight construction, and the low weight of just 1302 kg is mainly supported by the monocoque made of KFK. The British sports car contains a lot of Formula 1 technology such as "brake steer". The software of the CPA PowerBox gets the maximum performance out of the Briton's eight combustion chambers. A huge increase in performance of up to 88 hp and 83 NM can be achieved through chip tuning. The rev range and optimised acceleration in particular benefit from the increased power.
