Poisonous Japanese with up to 373 hp
Honda Civic Type R
Even at first glance it is clear that this is not a normal Honda Civic. The Honda makes no attempt to hide its performance. The Japanese have put a lot of effort into setting the new Type R apart from its predecessor. A powerful rear wing, lowering, skirts and sills, thick tailpipes and a sports brake system contribute to the massive appearance. In contrast to its predecessor, a turbocharged four-cylinder engine does its job in the new Civic, and the limiter only intervenes at 7000 rpm. Thanks to turbo technology, the Type R is ideally suited for a performance cure with the CPA PowerBox. The engine-specific software increases the output by adjusting the boost pressure and changing the injection quantity. A power increase of up to 64 hp and 84 NM can be achieved. Of course, we have tested our work properly, on the road as well as on the test bench, the Honda Civic Type R cuts a fine figure with the PowerBox.
