Snappy Spaniard tested by CPA
Seat Leon (II Typ 1P) 2.0 TFSI Cupra R
Seat Leon 2.0 TFSI Cupra R
The top engine of the Leon is called the Seat Cupra R. Cupra here means something like Sport Cup. With a standard output of 265 hp from an in-line four-cylinder with turbo, the name says it all. The chassis makes a solid impression and the brakes are not too small either. If Spanish temperament is now combined with German engineering, then nothing can stop the Cupra. The engine-specific software of the CPA PowerBox provides a brilliant increase in power of up to 65 hp and 87 NM. Even in the lower speed ranges, the Cupra R does not take a siesta. The chip tuning is effective immediately after installation and the Fiesta starts as soon as you accelerate. The strongest bull in the Seat stable rushes precisely and full of pressure through curves and we are also satisfied with the result on the test bench.
