With the new Golf VII GTD, VW has developed a sporty long-distance vehicle. In any case, we were thrilled by the sporty sound. An incredible 27% (48 hp) performance increase and a whole 27% (101 Nm) torque increase can be achieved with our PowerBox. Although we were familiar with the design of the engine, we did not miss any tests here. For example, we went overland with important driving practice tests and the constant monitoring of our temperature sensors. Longer full load tests were also carried out to check the load limits. Based on the precise temperature measurements, the heat development in the engine and exhaust could also be largely reproduced and taken into account accordingly.
