Dynamometer Dyno

dynamometer dyno

all-wheel drive dynamometer

CPA Performance has its own dynamometer (Rotronics X4 Plus). This is one of the most modern and accurate systems on the market and can measure front, rear and all-wheel drive vehicles. This is a particularly important quality and unique selling point.

Many competitors can only test their developments on the road. This always means risk for customer vehicles. In order to be able to develop or test our chip tuning in a comprehensible way, our dynamometer is indispensable.
If you bring your vehicle to us, we will check the performance using our dynamometer if you wish.
Of course, you will receive a detailed protocol with a performance chart.

We can measure power up to well over 1000hp precisely and reproducibly. Thanks to the crown-roller technology, tire wear and high tire temperatures are a thing of the past. With extremely powerful vehicles, we can accelerate up to 400 km/h.

This means that tests can also be carried out on extremely fast vehicles

Our fresh air blower is unique and allows for sufficient engine and charge air cooling throughout. The test bench is designed in such a way that even sports cars and formula cars that are lowered to the maximum can be reliably measured by us.

Thanks to our special fastening system, we can fix most vehicles on the test bench without tension straps.

Safety like in the test laboratory of the car manufacturers.

The vehicles do not have to be lashed downwards (if tow hooks are available at the front and rear) – this increases the measurement accuracy and only loads the tyres in the same way as they are loaded on the road.

The test bench helps us to analyse how we can ideally exploit the performance potential of the vehicles. With a before-and-after comparison, for example, you can show the performance of a chip-tuned car very well.

In short:

The dynamometer is part of the daily tool of a tuning company - just like the scissors to the hairdresser. Professional development in the chip tuning sector cannot be achieved by this instrument. Only companies that develop their tuning software on a dynamometer are able to program reasonable tuning boxes .
