Engine warranty for the CPA PowerBox Ultra and PowerBox Nitro

(hereinafter referred to as CPA) provides the following engine warranty to consumers within the meaning of § 13 BGB exclusively for the products PowerBox Ultra and PowerBox Nitro:
1. Scope of warranty
1.1 Admission area
The warranty commitment applies exclusively to vehicles that are registered in Germany,
Austria or Switzerland.
1.2 Components and parts
It covers all damage to the components mentioned below and
parts that are demonstrably and exclusively through the use of the
PowerBox Ultra or PowerBox Nitro.
•Turbocharger
• Engine internal parts, if they are connected to the oil circuit (except for the
clutch and clutch parts integrated in the transmission)
•Piston
•Crankcase
•Crankshaft
• Crankshaft sprocket
•Engine block
• Engine valves
•Camshaft
• Camshaft sprocket
•Sump
• Connecting rods
•Connecting rod
•Valves
• Valve guides
• Cylinder liners
•Cylinder head
•Intake manifold
• Drive shafts
• Cardan shaft
• Cardan shaft bearings
2. Warranty period
The warranty period begins with the handover of the PowerBox Ultra or PowerBox Nitro
to the customer and is valid for 12 (twelve) months for a PowerBox Ultra, 24 (four
twenty-one months on a PowerBox Nitro and up to a total mileage
of the vehicle of 100,000 kilometers.
3. Warranty requirements
The guarantee commitment is only valid on the condition that:
3.1 the warranty form enclosed with the PowerBox Ultra or PowerBox Nitro within
14 (fourteen) days after receipt of the PowerBox Ultra or PowerBox Nitro
completed in full, with all important attachments (service booklet and

3.2 the first registration of the vehicle upon handover of the PowerBox Ultra or PowerBox

4. Disclaimers of Warranties
There is no warranty claim for damage,
4.1 which are due to wear and tear of the vehicle,
4.2 which are based on the fact that the service and maintenance work prescribed by the vehicle manufacturer is not carried out on a regular basis at the respective authorised workshop of the
manufacturer,
4.3 which arise from the fact that the permissible towing capacity or the permissible
total weight of the vehicle has been exceeded or
4.4 which are produced on vehicles that are used in motorsport or at driving events
with a competitive character or associated practice runs
or were.
5. Expiration of the warranty claim
5.1 The use of
fuel types and engine oils will void the warranty claim. At
vehicles with gasoline engines, the warranty claim expires if they are not
without exception with fuel with at least 98 octane.
5.2 The warranty is not transferable to other vehicle owners and expires in the event of

5.3 The warranty is void if the PowerBox Ultra or PowerBox Nitro is sold with a higher

6. Notification of the warranty claim
6.1 From the warranty event, i.e. the occurrence of the damage to the goods covered by this warranty,
components and parts (see Clause 1.2) within the warranty period,

6.2 With the written notification of the warranty claim, the following documents and

installed condition and another picture of the engine compartment, including the
connected PowerBox
7. Procedure in the event of a warranty claim
7.1 Before the start of repairs, damage assessment or other work on the vehicle,
to obtain the instructions of CPA and to comply with them.
7.2 CPA's agents shall be permitted to investigate the engine failure and

7.3 If any of these conditions are breached, the warranty claim will be void.
8. Benefits in the event of a warranty claim and statutory warranty
8.1 CPA assumes the necessary and actual

9. Final Provisions, Notes and Assumptions
